Founded with the vision that it be as much an educational as a performance choir, choristers receive professional coaching in voice production, sight reading, ear training and music theory.

The training consists of lessons in vocal technique, singing in different languages and styles from Pop, Folk, Jazz, Classical, Gospel, and Gregorian Chant. The choristers take an exam at the end of each semester and are required to study their material at home.

The Vancouver Children's Choir is a tuition-based community choir, and is open for children of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

Rehearsals
